Humans
fear that robots might take over their jobs someday, and no kidding,
the process has started. Technology has taken over in many ways - first,
there was an AI-powered TV reporter in China and now there are robot
servers in various restaurants.
One such
restaurant has opened up in Chennai’s Porur area where robots serve food
communicate with customers in English and Tamil. The eatery is located
in Chennai’s Mugilivakkam Porur and has a team of seven robots designed
in blue and white.

The
customers are welcomed by a female robot at the reception who responds
to various questions the customers might have. Inside the restaurant,
the robots dressed as waiters, then, bring exotic drinks and meals tp
the table.
The restaurant also serves
Indo-Asian cuisines. The hotel staff has trained the robots well and
each of them costs around Rs 5 lakh.
